The collaboration has been great in many ways. Despite starting during a corona epidemic and never having physical meetings, I feel that there is really good chemistry, and they are very helpful. There is a lot of flexibility, which means a great deal when you have everything gathered in one place.

The challenge

Royal Gravering started with the idea and vision of establishing a webshop specializing in selling personal and engraved quality gifts. They aimed to build a strong online presence and were looking for a partner who could create a cohesive strategy across a wide range of digital services and thus help build their business from the ground up. In other words, they sought a partner who could help them implement a digital marketing strategy and webshop with an understanding of their business model and goals.

Before partnering with Iternum Digital, Royal Gravering faced several challenges. They lacked a website optimized to convert visitors into customers, as well as an effective digital marketing strategy that could help them reach their target audience and maximize their online visibility and revenue.

The solution

With a 360-degree digital marketing strategy, Iternum Digital has helped Royal Gravering build a strong online business from scratch. Our focus on technology, a conversion-ready webshop and a consistent visual identity has been crucial in creating an impressive digital success.

The strategy has primarily involved the development of a new user-centred webshop and a corresponding strong brand identity, both of which have been the foundation for the digital marketing. Our work therefore started with the execution of a thorough brand manual and a detailed requirement specification. With a shop where customers e.g. can choose between different fonts and fill in personal fields for engraving on the products, there was a need for advanced custom functionalities and integration between the website and shop. There were also several integrations for e.g. Ønskeskyen, E-mail Service Provider and Cookiebot as well as an additional security layer.

After the launch, we have continued to support, maintain and adapt the shop both in relation to new wishes and functionalities as well as optimization of the existing ones. Additionally, we have conducted extensive A/B testing and optimized the website’s user experience to increase conversions. This alone resulted in a 36% higher conversion rate and revenue, as well as generally increased customer satisfaction. Likewise, we reviewed and optimized the entire website to improve Royal Gravering’s ranking on search engines. This resulted in increased organic traffic and better visibility on relevant keywords.

In addition to organic traffic, we created an effective online presence through paid advertising on Google Ads, which resulted in an increase in both paid traffic and online sales. We also developed a targeted social media strategy that included creative content and targeted ads on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. This increased customer engagement and attracted new target groups, contributing to the business goal and further increasing sales and revenue.

Finally, we implemented server-side tracking on the webshop to ensure accurate data collection and gain a better understanding of customer behavior. This enabled a more precise allocation of resources to the most effective marketing channels.

The results

The collaboration between Royal Gravering and Iternum Digital has yielded impressive results. After two years of partnership, the numbers show a clear development in Royal Gravering’s business. From the first measurements at the start of the collaboration, revenue has grown by more than 500%, and ROAS has improved with an impressive increase of 87%.

Organic traffic to the website has seen significant growth with a 106% increase in impressions and 64% more clicks, as well as a significantly better average position alone from the period 2022 to 2023. The presence on social media has resulted in increased customer satisfaction and attracted a larger follower base, with sales also increasing by over 219% from 2022 to 2023, while ROAS has improved by over 47% in the same period.

This collaboration has not only strengthened the company’s position but also enabled the physical store in the heart of Copenhagen.

“It’s only because of the webshop and the digital marketing that Iternum Digital has done that I have a business today,” says Natasja Bové, explaining how she feels that everyone at Iternum Digital is part of Royal Gravering and has helped drive the entire business.
