The challenge

When we were presented with the task, it was to develop a new website with a focus on a solid inbound marketing strategy. The company wanted to drive more business through the website, as the existing website was primarily used for recruiting new IT consultants.

Mansoft came to us with a mantra that read “IT is also people.” They wanted their new website to communicate their competencies in complex IT projects more simply and in a way that was easy for the customer to understand. Their most important CTA was that it should be easy to find exactly the consultant who could execute a given IT project – from staffing the Service Desk to project management of new infrastructure.

The solution

Mansoft wanted to make it easy for customers to find the right consultant for their IT project. Therefore, we agreed with Mansoft to develop their new website based on the Growth Driven Design method – a more agile approach to building websites, where data collection ensures business progress.

Together with Mansoft, we defined, already in the initial phase, their key Buyer Personas and their user journey. This was to form the basis for the site structure, which we visualized with wireframes. The website was designed in Umbraco CMS, and then we set up a strong inbound marketing (and sales) engine on the website, where lead generation and lead nurturing for customers needing an IT consultant had a prominent function. As an important part of the task, we helped Mansoft choose a CRM and marketing automation platform, followed by onboarding HubSpot.

The development of relevant content and campaigns is ongoing. As we collect data and thus learn more about Mansoft’s customers, we will create more customer-centric content, exactly as the inbound marketing methodology prescribes.
