Denmark’s leading e-commerce company within coffee machines, Rigtig Kaffe, will occupy Scandinavia. Together with new investors, Iternum Digital will help Rigtig Kaffe beyond national borders.
In Denmark we love coffee. So much that we are in the top 5 in the world. But we are not alone – the love for coffee is something we share with our Scandinavian neighbors. According to the international coffee organization, ICO, the Nordic countries are the most coffee-drinking nations in the world.
This is good news for Rigtig Kaffe. For the past few years, Iternum Digital has helped Rigtig Kaffe achieve their digital marketing goals at home and in Sweden. Today, Rigtig Kaffe is the leader in sales of espresso machines and accessories for Danish homes, and with new investors on board, the rest of Scandinavia will be conquered.
Rigtig Kaffe was founded in 2009 and is today present with webshops in both Denmark and Sweden, where Iternum Digital has helped them with, among other things, their UI, SEO and Google Ads optimization. But Rigtig Kaffe has only just begun and sees many more opportunities – not only in the Danish, but also the rest of the Scandinavian market. Therefore, they have now taken two experienced investors with them on the next part of the journey.
The two investors are called Stampe+Stampe and Elwis Invest and will help to internationalize the company and spread the good products to the rest of the Nordic region. Behind the investors are Simon Stampe, former owner of Bloomingville and investor in several companies, as well as Søren Lottrup, who with his family has invested in a large number of companies such as LanguageWire, Shark Gaming, etc.
At Iternum Digital, we are incredibly excited about the development at Rigtig Kaffe, and we look forward to working with Stampe+Stampe and Elwis Invest to move Rigtig Kaffe even closer to their international goals.
Rigtig Kaffe currently sell almost every fourth fully automatic espresso machine in Denmark and at the same time offer the widest selection of espresso coffee, care products and accessories. Rigtig Kaffes success is built on a digital platform. Today, a total of 80-85% of their sales are made through their own website. And it remains the company’s ambition that growth should be created through the digital channels. For Iternum Digital, this means more optimization and more data that we can work with to create profitable growth at Rigtig Kaffe. In the first instance, it is a matter of even more Danes gaining knowledge of the quality products, and then the internationalization can begin in earnest. First and foremost, Rigtig Kaffe must be further developed in the Swedish market, and in 2020 the coffee company expect to launch in Norway.
